Allium cernuum (Nodding Onion) [ID#1868]




New for 2023, Nodding Onion is known for the unique orientation of its flowers: the umbels face downward, “nodding” towards the ground.  Pom-poms of star-like blossoms dangle from each hooked stem, blooming in shades of cream, pale pink, and light lavender.  Great pollinator plant and native to Michigan. Zone 3-8. Height 15 inches. Plant in full sun or part shade. Available in quart pots: order in # of flats (at 12 pots per flat).
